At CARL Berger-Levrault, the mission of the Research and Innovation Department is to embrace opportunities offered by science and technology.

We relentlessly seek out opportunities in an increasingly complex environment by probing all aspects of our businesses and those of our customers, whether economic, technological or scientific.

Thus we carry out an ambitious research and innovation strategy based on 5 axes of innovation: Internet of Things (IoT) and predictive maintenance, automatic learning (artificial intelligence), energy management, geographic information systems (GIS) and building information models (BIM). This innovation approach is open and pursued in collaboration with with our customers and our public and private research partners.

We owe our success in large part to the priority we have always given to investing in the continuous improvement of our software and our ability to integrate, into our products, the technological and scientific developments stemming from research.

This is why, in addition to an ambitious research and innovation policy, we are committed to maintaining a clear and sustainable product policy, an essential condition for continuing to support our longest-standing customers throughout their projects, while offering them product innovations that are part of their own continuous improvement process and enable them to enter the world of industry 4.0, smart buildings, smart cities, and more.
