CMMS / GIS integration discovery day

The benefits of the integration of GIS and CMMS for the transport sector.

CMMS / GIS integration discovery day

Find out more about the benefits of integrating CMMS, Facility Management and GIS

Esri France, geographic information expert, GEOMAP-IMAGIS, expert integrator in technical information systems and CARL Software, expert in management of equipment and Asset Management wanted to combine their know-how.

The 3 partners invite you to delve into the benefits added by the integration of their solutions during a special morning dedicated to the transport sector: transport organizations and companies, infrastructure managers (rail, road, air, river and maritime ), engineering companies, equipment manufacturer…

It will allow maintenance, technical and operational managers… IT departments and Asset managers to discover the possibilities offered by the combination of CMMS, Facility Management and SIG.

You will also be able to talk to three speakers from the rail and airport sectors who will speak aboutn the expected benefits of integrating their GIS and their CMMS.

AGENDA

Take a look at the agenda for the 30th May 2017

09:00: Welcome coffee

09:30 a.m. / 10:00 a.m.: CMMS / GIS integration: the benefits of integrating GIS and CMMS into a technical information system for the transport sector

The publishers CARL Software, Esri France and GEOMAP-IMAGIS have forged an advanced technological partnership by integrating the CARL Source CMMS solutions and the ArcGis GIS through the CARL Maps module.
Discussion on the benefits provided by the integration of CMMS, GIS, FM (Facility Management) for creating, managing and operating a linear infrastructure dedicated to transport.
Speakers: Laurent Truscello, CARL Software functional product expert; Gilles Camus, CEO Geomap – Imagis; Jean-Marie Villano, director of private sector Esri France.

10:00 a.m. / 10:30 a.m.: Egis’ experience in the infrastructure data life cycle environment.

Egis is involved in design projects where it is necessary to enrich the GIS with BIM elements. This complex approach has its origins in innovative geomatic architectures developed for other infrastructure projects such as the LGV SEA, which respect the life cycle of the infrastructure and evolve with it. This notion of life cycle is today the source of a variant to the evolutionary GIS, the GIS as a source of second life.
Speaker: Magali Barrué – EGIS

10:30 a.m. / 11:00 a.m.: For optimized railway maintenance

Example of Oc’Via, the company responsible for the maintenance of the Nîmes-Montpellier bypass high-speed line. In the coming months, Oc’Via’s 30 technicians will be able to geolocate the discrete and linear assets to be maintained on the tracks, pool work on several pieces of equipment in the same geographical area, and thus optimise travel and work managed on the CARL Touch mobile CMMS; a test phase that will become effective in October 2017, for the opening of the high-speed line to traffic.
Speakers: Samuel Penneçot, technical director Oc’Via

11:00 a.m. / 11:30 a.m.: break – exchanges

11:30 a.m. / 12:00 p.m.: Optimizing airport maintenance activities

Geneva Airport wishes to interconnect its GIS and its CMMS. This integration will simplify the creation of maintenance requests and reduce the time required for repairs. The improvement of equipment availability rates, particularly the most critical ones, will allow the platform’s operations to be optimised. In addition, cross-referenced statistics, based on geolocation and maintenance activities (requests, interventions), will provide more precise and relevant indicators in order to optimise preventive plans, and therefore help to reach the objective of improving the availability rate.
Speakers: Mr. Aydin Serdar, Maintenance and CMMS manager, Alexandre Pillonel, GIS project manager, Alain Freidig IT manager for the CMMS application.

12:00 p.m. / 12:30 p.m.: Predictive maintenance: how to anticipate breakdowns and optimize the replacement of parts?

IoT, big data… The multiplication of data generated in industry opens up new possibilities in terms of predictive analysis. Using data from sensors, maintenance, etc., it is now possible to predict the breakdown of a machine or the life span of specific parts. But how can we make the most of these piles of data? How do you develop relevant predictive models?
Speakers: Dataiku company, publisher of Data Science Studio – integrated solution for predictive analysis.

12:30 p.m. / 2:00 p.m.: Lunch cocktail

2:00 p.m. / 4:00 p.m.: Demonstration centres or Esri conferences

Demonstration centres of CARL Source CMMS software, Esri’s ArcGIS platform and GEOMAP – IMAGIS will be available for you to discover. You will also be able to attend Esri product conferences.
