    SaaS & CMMS Software

    • What are the advantages of a packaged offer?

      With CARL Source CMMS packages, you benefit from :

      • Additional services: cloud equipment upgrades, patches, minor and major application updates, etc. carried out by CARL Berger-Levrault.
      • Additional features: mobility, CARL Maps, multi-site, multi-language…
    • How is storage space managed for SaaS CMMS applications?

      Storage space for SaaS applications is determined according to the Planètes offer selected, with the possibility of extending it as required.

      A supervision system is in place to manage disk space saturation.
      Attachments are backed up in the same way as data.

    • Where are CARL Source CMMS SaaS data hosted?

      Our SaaS datacenters are hosted in France or Europe, and are ISO 27001 certified (for European Union customers).
      The entire Cloud network is protected by an anti-Ddos
      mechanism and EDR/EPP. Traffic passing over the network is constantly monitored.
      Each VM is equipped with its own anti-virus software, updated via ERP (anti-virus/anti-malware) and EDR (behavioral analysis).

    • Is SSO available as SaaS?

      Yes, SSO is available as SaaS.

      A SAML SSO configuration is required for identity federation.

    • Who manages SaaS applications (maintenance, updates, installation)?

      Regular updates (corrective, security, functional, minor, major…) for all CARL Berger-Levrault software in Saas mode are carried out by CARL Berger-Levrault services and are therefore transparent to your users.

    • Are all CARL Source CMMS applications and options SaaS-compatible?

      SaaS packages cover all options, except for CARL Maps CAD and KMS data encryption, which can be handled as SaaS via a customized offer.

    • How secure is the data stored on SaaS in CARL Source CMMS?

      No customer data is collected from SaaS for processing by CARL Berger-Levrault or our partner. Customer data is kept separate from that of other customers. We adopt a strong password strategy (local authentication). Passwords are not stored unencrypted in the Solution.

    • How do I access SaaS data in CARL Source CMMS?

      For reporting purposes, data can be accessed via the OData protocol, which can be considered the Web equivalent of the SQL standard used to query databases. As far as
      backups are concerned, you can obtain a backup copy on request up to twice a year.

      At the end of the contract, all data will be returned in full at no extra cost, thus ensuring data reversibility.

      service providers are responsible for software maintenance, updates and security.
