Technical departments of hospitals are facing the increasing technicality of hospital buildings and the optimization of building life cycle monitoring. The knowledge of the building and its facilities after delivery, post-construction is provided by technical asset management and maintenance solutions (EAM/ CMMS) that now want to integrate BIM design models to optimize the management of buildings.
At the end of the EXE phase of the work, the record of the executed works is often unusable, and requires a recovery of the data structure from the operator. The process and BIM tools must contribute to obtaining right from the BIM construction, the elements necessary to operational BIM. With this goal in mind, the Hospices Civils de Lyon, in partnership with CARL Software, have developed tools and methods of work for a ” DOE Digital ” adequate to infrastructure and buildings management.
During this conference, the speakers will present the methodology used at the HCL and how they have integrated the BIM model of the new building H at Lyon’s Edouard Herriot Hospital into CARL Source CMMS.
